Some people want to forget...

Another drawing for Healing, but it isn't necessarily limited to that, since this picture can be interpreted in any way.

So here's my story for it:

This is a boy who went through so much pain that he eventually wanted to become numb. He found a way to escape from reality and be locked in his own mind, while another version of himself took over the conscious version. The other version is exactly like the first, except without the first's memories and with a different eye color. This boy, the original, dwells in the Dream Realm, a part of the dream portion of the mind he locking himself into. There's no retaking his part in the conscious body and he doesn't want to. In his world, he can make anything he wants happen and he slowly fades, dying just as he's always wanted to.

In this picture, he's trying to communicate with his other self by going to the barrier separating his world (the Dream Realm) from the rest of his other self's mind. Originally, the barrier/gate/fence/wall was drawn in, but in the end, I didn't like it so I got rid of it.

Yes this is Ritsuka's other self, the 'Real Ritsuka' but it doesn't have to pertain to Loveless. Takes place during chapter sixteen of Healing. I'll soon be doing a companion picture to this with the current Ritsuka.
